First Open Water Dive!

Today was our first open water dive! It was amazing. Tor said it was one of the best dives she has done all summer. After that we did some rotations. Our second rotation was man overboard drills. We learned how to steer the boat around a man overboard to rescue them. Then we went to our third rotation. It was learning how to make Turk’s Head bracelets. Most of us got really frustrated at some point, but we have all become Turk’s Head masters. Our fourth rotation was sailing little Picos, which seemed weird being on such small sailboats. Jordan and I started strong and having lots of fun sharing a Pico. Getting back to the boat after drifting a good ways away was the trouble. Long story short, we had to be towed back. All in all it was a fantastic day, and to keep up the awesomeness, we are ending the day with a dinner of summer thanksgiving!
