Big Waves are LOTS of Fun

Today was another amazing day in the BVI’s. After breakfast we sailed to West End and got off the boat to stretch our legs, get some food, and look in the shops. Then we had a 2 1/2 hour sail to GHP (Great Harbor, Peter). To get to GHP we had to travel up the Drake Channel. It was very windy and the waves were all at least 4 foot with a few huge waves in between. Everyone took advantage of the big waves and gathered together on the bow to ride the waves like a roller coaster. Everyone got drenched from the waves and had a lot of fun. Once we got to GHP we set up the dive gear and jumped in the water. On the dive we saw a sting ray, lobster, and a turtle. It was amazing to watch the turtle as he glided around the reef. It was a great end to another amazing day in the BVI’s.
