Location: Marina Cay

Today we were allowed to sleep in! We were woken up at 7:45 am!!! I was woken up to some nice classical music playing. Last night apparently, I was woken up at 2:30 am due to Alex, Savannah, Jacob, Olivia, Player, and Xander coming inside because of the rain. Apparently, I walked to the bathroom and laid down. Two minutes later, I “screamed” because I got “scared” (I have no memory of this). We had cereal for breakfast(!!) made by Olivia and Alex! We were told if we cleaned up fast enough and were ready by 9 am, we could potentially have another solo dive at Great Harbor Peter! We all worked together as a team and cleaned up fast enough just in time to dive (surprise). Finn, Olivia, and I had a very nice dive. As we were on our way back to the boat, we all saw a big cloud of sand… I’m not going to lie. We were all a little confused at first but then spotted a Caribbean Sting-ray, which was so cool. We moved on from that and tried to find the mooring line. I thought we were lost until I looked up and saw Alex, Xander, and Jacob hovering over us (They definitely did not ascend in the wrong place and swim over to the line…..). A big smile crossed my face because I knew that we found the boat!!!!! Amelia was also able to complete her deep dive!!
Once we packed all of our gear away, we got called for a dive debrief and got told we were able to take a freshwater shower!! We all became ecstatic. After we all finished the shower, we were told that we had used up a gallon of water….. Once we docked in Road Town, we all got our phones (I think everyone can guess how happy we were). We got on land and searched high and low for a grocery store, but sadly we couldn’t find one. I guess no more Tostitos for Gus… We all sat down for lunch and ordered our food, but it didn’t get to us on time so sadly, we had to cancel the order. I went to a French Bakery and bought a Baguette which I was very happy about after we all went back to the boat and started making our way to dive spot number two, Alice in Wonderland!
The boat ride there was very bumpy, the majority of us had our daily nap, but Pat and Alex were willingly laying on the trampoline and getting smashed by waves. We got ready for our dive in Alice in Wonder, which in my opinion, was one of the best dives we have done. We saw a Nassau Grouper, which according to Pat, is becoming endangered. (Alex saw four squids, so he says…) The second we ascended, it started pouring, which was so cool and pretty. We started heading to Marina Cay while Alex and Olivia started making dinner, and everyone else was sitting in the front talking. We just finished eating dinner and cleaning up and now getting ready to listen to a lifeworks tape. It was a good day!
