Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today was so much fun! We woke up around 8:30. We had a nice breakfast of eggs and muffins. After a slow morning of getting ready, we headed over to the beach to prepare for our navigation dive. The beach was beautiful! While we were there, we saw two baby lemon sharks swimming along the beach!

Once we got back to the boat, we got ready for water sports! We got to try kneeboarding, wakeboarding, and water skiing. We made a quick lunch of chicken salad sandwiches, and then once everyone was done with water sports, we sailed over to our dive site, which was about 10ish minutes away from where we were.

Right as we got there, we geared up and got into the water. On our dive, we practiced the navigational skills we had practiced on the beach. Everyone did so well, and no one got lost! While we were down there, a few of us saw a stingray swimming in the sand! When we surfaced, we practiced using surface marker buoys.

We then showered and sailed back to Savannah Bay. Our chefs made dinner, chili, and rice which was so good! After we were done eating and cleaning, we headed over to one of the other boats to get our night diving lecture. We, along with two of the other dive side boats, learned everything we had to know about night diving. Once the lecture was over, our dingy “Oats” brought us back to our boat. There, we prepped for tomorrow and got ready for bed. Overall it was such a fun day!
