Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
We were up at Trellis Bay and had breakfast there. There were no morning activities besides a sail chat, and we had lunch on shore and then got back in the boat and started sailing to Vixen Point. The crew did a great job on the way, there was good wind and the sea wasn’t too choppy so the sail was just great. When we got to Vixen Point we dropped an anchor and now we are in between Magpie Bridge and Mary Jewell. It was a great chill day and I’m so happy and excited to see what is expected for tomorrow.

Dogs Go Baaa
Today we woke up to a delicious breakfast of pancakes. After we cleaned the cockpit we got on our way and set out for Tortola. We faced some rough seas and we finally made it to a small port. Then I drove into port and hooked up the anchor. There we saw an animal on the side of a cliff and I mistakenly recognized this animal as a dog. This “dog” was actually a goat. I did not hear the end of that. When we got on land we all stuck in a big group and enjoyed a late lunch of chicken wings, calamari, chicken nuggets, and fish sticks. All were fantastic. Even though it was raining the mood was not dampened and all were in good spirits. Another day in paradise.

Cool Diving Day
We had a super cool fun filled day today. We suited up and went diving in the morning and saw some awesome reefs. I even got to see a stingray! After having the dive of my life we went to the other boat Caribbean Soul and mingled with some new friends. We even got to learn some new things about sailing, such as right of way, rules of the road, and which direction you should sail in different weather conditions. Overall today was a ten out of ten.

On The Beach
Today some of us went into Spanishtown and drove to a beach where we collected trash along the beach. The other people on the boat went to Savanna Bay and wakeboarded and sailed in Picos. We all had lunch on the boat together and went back to the beach for more activities. Most of the boat went scuba diving, while a few other people went on a hike to the other side of the beach. The weather was really warm with a bit of a breeze and the water was really pretty and clear. The favorite things done today were scuba diving and the beach at Spanishtown which had huge rocks that we were able to climb onto. Tonight our evening activities area scuba talk or an environmental movie, depending on which program we are doing. They day was amazing and beautiful!

Learning How To Sail
Today we woke up at six, ate breakfast, and had a really long team meeting. We all left for our separate routes and all got introduced to our “jobs” for the first time. Then we stopped for lunch at Peter Island for a peaceful couple hours. After we sailed to our final destination, Savanna Bay, where we had a scuba lesson, dinner, and a group activity.
