Man Overboard Practice!

Today was a very action-packed day, and we all accomplished something new and different as a team. We were able to wake up a little later this morning, at 7:30. The chefs prepared some oatmeal for the group as we jammed out to our morning CD. We had an early scuba chat about night dives and then picked up anchor to go to shore at Leverick Bay. We got our phones to call our families and then had an incredible lunch together. We bought some supplies in town and picked up anchor once more to head back to Mountain Point. We had a very successful sail and practiced some man overboard drills. Once we reached Mountain Point and dropped anchor we had some fun free time and hung out in the water and took our showers. We had some amazing swim time and played around with a new banana float. We then got ready for dinner. We all had a tasty Mexican dinner, and some of us pranked a staff member by jumping in the water without warning. Right now as I am writing this blog, and the rest of the team is doing the dishes, we are listening to music and looking at a beautiful sunset and fish jumping out of the water. Later in the evening we went on our first night dive and saw a whole new part of the coral ecosystem. Overall our teamwork and our strong bonds made this day both progressive and memorable. date:Aug 5, 2017
