Today was a solid day. We had an early start today, waking up at 5 am to sail over to Anegada- 12 nautical miles away from Tortola. Once we got there, we were treated to a beach day with the rest of dive side. The beach was amazing with pristine white sand and an endless assortment of blue, aqua, and turquoise. The water was extraordinarily clear and the sand felt like soft clouds. After a couple solid hours of tanning and chicken fights, we boarded our boat and set sailed for the Chickuzin wreck. This dive site seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. The water was very choppy at the dive site and we had some challenges getting in and out of the boat. Once we went into the water, the Neptunes completed their first deep dive at 70 feet while the Dolphins enjoyed a fun dive. Underwater, we all saw a plethora of fish. The Chickuzin was covered with marine life including schools of fish, corals, and even a spotted eagle ray! Once we finished the dive we all saw a large sea turtle! This astounding sight was only to be followed by our undoubtedly favorite meal this whole trip: chicken Caesar salad with risotto. It was a scrumptious meal with corn, bacon, and more! Finally, to end this fantastic day, Alex and Rocco made us a delicious lemon cake with Funfetti frosting. Today was truly a solid day!
