Today was passage day! We started our day with some delicious yogurt and bagels for breakfast in Savannah Bay. After breakfast, we got a chance to try out some fun water sports or go for a quick swim. After the morning activities, we headed to Leverick Bay for some shore time before the passage. Our sail to Leverick Bay was rainy but still super fun and exciting. After our shore time at Levrik Bay, we began our passage to Saba. We all took 3-hour shifts taking watch during the sail. The first shift began at 3 pm and lasted until 6 pm and these went on until 6 a.m. the next morning when we hooked onto a mooring ball in Saba. The sail went very well with only a few people getting sea sick and only a little bit of rain. The feeling of sailing through the night is indescribable and it was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. The sky surrounding us was painted with stars and very few clouds and even though it was dark the moon still gave a glowing luminecence to all things surrounding the boat. The best part of the passage, however, was arriving at Saba because we arrived at sunrise and the view was really beautiful.
