Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
This morning the crew woke up early and had a great breakfast of eggs, melon, and cereal. After breakfast, we took our clothes off the lines and put our PFDs on and headed out. There wasn’t much wind today so we only had our mainsail open as we sailed to Cooper Island. Here, we ate sandwiches for lunch and went for a quick swim. The water was crystal clear as we left we saw a large barracuda eating our leftovers. After this, we sailed across the channel to Savanna Bay, where we are anchored now. Once we arrived we took turns going water skiing/wakeboarding and knee boarding. This was a ton of fun and a lot of the crew tried something they had never done before. When we were all back on the boat, we took showers and got into nice dry clothes. The plan for the rest of the night is to eat our dinner of pasta and hot dogs, have a scuba chat, and then head off to sleep. Today was a great day with beautiful weather and I feel like the crew grew a lot closer.
