Divers to the Rescue

Today we stayed anchored at GHP… but that doesn’t mean we didn’t do anything! Today was a big day for everyone. Rescue divers had their first major training dive and they learned how to respond to unconscious divers and bring them back to the boat while giving rescue breaths. The Dolphins went on two dives today. The first dive was a research dive and trained them to study different benthic species. On the second dive, they learned all about the different types of symbiosis for their naturalist specialty. The Neptunes dove the sunken tug boat called The Fearless and mapped the wreck. Then they went to the Rhone anchor for a fun dive to end the day. Once everyone met back on Pure Joy, we had summertime Thanksgiving for dinner and finally ended the long day with a movie night.
