Day 15- A Relaxing Day In Port
Posted: Fri, Aug 12, 2016
Location: The Bight, Norman Island
For the first time in 14 days, we woke up to a lazy morning. The whole boat slept in until around 9:30am; as opposed to our usual 6 am wake up call to the sound of blasting pump up music. After our chefs, Natalie and Matt cooked up some delicious French toast that we chowed down and then headed to Road Town on Tortola. A few of us enjoyed some yummy local food while others ventured out to try the locals favorite Chinese restaurant. We viewed the city and even got the chance to pick up a few groceries that we wanted for the last few days. Once we got back on the boat we sailed over to the Bight on Norman Island where we will spend our last night. After cleaning the boat, until it was spotless we headed into the water for an ocean shower. Next, we enjoyed some classic franks and beans with a side of corn bread. We are planning on doing a fun evening activity, cant wait to find out what it is! We are all definitely treasuring our last few days here and soaking in all of the amazing experiences.
