This morning I woke up to the sunrise on the bow. Everything was quiet and peaceful. Once everyone was awake, we set the table, while the chefs of the day prepared breakfast. Today we had pancakes with syrup. As we enjoyed our delicious pancakes, Davis told us that all of us passed the rescue test! Therefore, we are officially certified rescue dives! We made our way to Wreck Alley for our dives and scenario . The first dive was definitely my favorite dive of the trip. The visibility was so clear you could see the bottom of the ocean from the surface. The best part of the entire dive was that as we were ascending, we saw a barracuda. But it wasn’t just because we saw it, it was because we happened to take our fins off at the same time, so when Camilla saw it, she tried to run away. The barracuda looked and swam at her slowly. Most definitely funniest thing of the trip. The second dive was also awesome. We got to see all the shipwrecks and swim throughs. Fiona, Camilla and I proudly reached 1000 photos on my Go-Pro today. Can’t have too many. Our emergency plan scenario also went really well. Everyone had their roles and jobs, showing we had everything under control. Dinner we had Mike over for dinner, which was great. We filled him in on our accomplishments and future activities. After our squeeze, we did the black and white cards activity. I always love doing this because you can share and become aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Overall, today was another great day!!
