Day 12- Another Day On Lady A
Posted: Tue, Aug 9, 2016
Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Wow! Days like this are simply unforgettable! We had an early start this morning with a filling meal of French toast, Nutella, fruit and Gatorade. After we finished cleaning the last of the dishes, the first of the dinghies came to take us to our first activity of the day: watersports. After an action packed hour of waterskiing, wakeboarding, knee boarding and swimming, the dinghies returned to bring us to our next activity that morning, diving. This morning’s dive was a special one, it was the dive that would award us our PADI open water certification! After an enthralling half hour at 40ft below, we breached the surface as certified open water divers! After our dive, the dinghies came to take us to our final stop of the morning, movie watching. After an interesting film on 14 year old girl sailing solo around the world, we headed back to our boat to begin my favorite activity of the day, sailing! Today’s sail would be a quick one from our current anchorage in Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island to Sandy Spit. Currently we are anchored just off shore from Sandy Spit awaiting another fun ActionQuest BBQ. Today has been a day of unimaginable fun, and I can’t wait for the sun to rise on another one tomorrow.
