Location: Marina Cay
Today was definitely a good one! We had a sleep in and woke up at around 7am. We sailed all the way to Anegada beach, it was a long ride, which gave us plenty of time to rest after last night’s dance-beach BBQ. At Anegada, famous for its crystal clear waters and white sandy beach it made for a truly paradise like background for our dive lectures and beach games. All of dive side joined in for some games in the water and some laid-back sun tanning on the sand. After that, some deli sandwiches hit the spot and we hit the road towards the Chikuzen a Japanese refrigerator shipwreck in the middle of the ocean. A nice ride filled with waves, splashes and big swells didn’t allow us to dive the Chikuzen. We were bummed, but there was a silver lining, we got to dive “the visibles” which was an awesome dive, we saw a spotted eel, ginormous tiger fish and some really cool crabs. A jam-packed day ended with yet another beautiful sunset and a Mexican feast. It’s sails down and into bed for yet another amazing day in the BVI’s.
