Day 3 – Hog Fish And Lightning
Posted: Sun, Jul 31, 2016
Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
We started off the day at 6am, which was great because it poured in the middle of the night last night when we were all sleeping outside. We had oatmeal for breakfast which was pretty good. After cleaning the dishes and getting attacked by seagulls, we moved the boat because a huge storm was coming in. After some rain, we went on our navigation dive for our advanced certification. When we got out, we set up lunch which was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It got cut short by a thunderstorm which lasted for about an hour. It was all made up for by the great dive we did after it passes. We saw all types of coral and fish which were all different sizes. We even saw a hogfish which was two feet long! A lobster and trumpet fish were also spotted, along with a school of magicarp. We finished the day with clear skies and cheesy Alfredo for dinner.
