Day 15 – Sage, Sand, Sydney’s

Location: Sydney’s, Jost van Dyke
Today was easily the busiest day of our time here at ActionQuest. Our day started with an early morning wakeup at 6 am and a quick breakfast of cereal. After a fast cleanup, we made our way to Cane Garden Bay on Tortola. There, we started on the long and hard trek up Mount Sage – the highest point in the BVI. The hike started with the terrible up hill climb – the hardest part of the walk. After making it up the hill we enjoyed the somewhat easier walk to the top, stopping to enjoy the beautiful views. On our way down we stopped and enjoyed some amazing banana smoothies. After we made our way down we celebrated our 6 mile hike by enjoying a tasty early lunch. After a few hours just hanging out, we went back to our boat and motored to the beach for the sandcastle building contest. We decided to build a scuba tank. Although it didn’t turn out the way we expected, we had a lot of fun building it! Later, we motored to Sydney’s Peace and Love for a fun dinner with the whole fleet. We left Sidney’s around 11 pm, which was a great ending for such a long but fun day!
