Day 11 – I Was Made For The Tropics
Posted: Sat, Jun 25, 2016
Location: Marina Cay
The sun shined bright as the boat woke up from a great sleep. We had cereal, bagels and yogurt as we quickly got underway towards Road Town. Once at Road Town, the boat all gathered to go buy groceries and shop for clothes and such. I was able to get myself a hardy 3-layered grilled cheese. When we got back to our boat, we listened to music and played card games, and Doug and I won twice. The boat then set sail for about a few hours towards Mario’s Reef on Ginger Island. I was able to start on my book Elena let me borrow, and for anybody that is curious it is called “Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children. I highly recommend it. When we got to our dive site, we set up our dive gear and briefed our dive. The Neptunes were able to do their second boat dive where they navigated their own dive all by themselves. On the other hand, the dolphins worked on their research doing various data collections underwater. When we got out of the water, we motored over to Marina Cay where we are about to have a delicious dinner and a gigantic lifeworks meeting, which will take about an hour and a half. This has been your boy Jackson, keeping it classy in the Caribbean Sea.
