Day 10 – Staff Update – Time Flies On Shazam!
Posted: Fri, Jun 24, 2016
Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
The past 10 days on Shazam have been so much fun and that is 100% due to the amazing crew onboard. At times it’s hard to remember that we’ve only been out here for 10 days because the crew of Shazam works so well together and it already feels like a family with Shazam as our beautiful home. It has been a blast to watch each student come out of their shell and are becoming great sailors and divers. Diego is our dinghy man and helps every time we anchor or pick up a mooring ball. Sky is a natural sailor and has been doing a fantastic job on the helm. Taylum is a joy to dive with and is quickly becoming a very experienced and skilled diver. Lane has learned to drive our tiller steer dinghy, Stealth, and is now a pro. Aiden is always around to lend a helping hand whether it’s handling lines or cleaning dishes. Ben and Tommy, two future rescue divers, keep our group laughing and entertained with their jokes. Maggie has taken to the digital cameras the Dolphin students have learned to use and is developing a keen eye for a good photo. Conrad has finished his Open Water certification and is always excited to get back in the water and learn more diving skills. Soleh has managed to stand up on a wakeboard of the first time! As you can see, our amazing crew has been quite busting crushing it and we are very excited to see what the next 10 days hold!
