Posted: Sat, Jun 18, 2016
Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today was a great day for everyone. We started the by waking up in Savanna Bay then a quick motor to the Baths. The Baths are formation of rocks all on the shore. They got their name when slave traders used the caves and shallow water to wash off their slaves in route to the world. We spent a good amount of time there climbing and exploring the rocks. After the baths we motored to Spanish town. At this time we need lunch. Our whole boat when to the Bath and Turtle. Most of us got burgers, they were delicious. After this we had time to explore the town. Some of us go ice cream, or candy. Then we sailed a bit to learn tacks and jibes. We ended out day by anchoring back at Savanna Bay. Tonight we have our first sail chat along with a briefing of the skills we need for our first scuba dive tomorrow.
