Day 13- Stingray on Second Dive!

Today was a quiet day and yet full of surprises. We woke up early in the morning to enjoy scrambled eggs with a beautiful welcome of a rainbow on the mountains in front of us. After that we went to make Turk’s Head bracelets, which were as beautiful as challenging to make them. It was really impressive to watch what appeared simple and plain lashing line turn into such a beautiful object that could last until 15 years! We then went back to the boat where most of the people went waterskiing, and I say most because some just stayed on the boat to chill and talk. After that we had an amazing experience learning about boat mechanics (engines, engine checks, water…). We then had lunch, where we had soup and finished the evening with a beautiful dive on a calm and clear sea. The Barracudas went in to finish their fish ID dive, which is done to identify fish and the Vegas went for an open water dive. We saw many fish, including parrotfish, jackfish and some hermit crabs changing it’s shell, but just as we were ascending a stingray just came to finish the dive as a wonderful image. We then returned to the boat to change and go to an evening BBQ where we dined on burgers on a sun setting, perfect end of a day!
