Day 3- Getting The Jib Out
Posted: Fri, Jul 10, 2015
Location: Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today was one of the most exciting days ever. We started the day with eggs for breakfast and delicious pineapple. After that we sailed from Norman Island to Savannah Bay. It took us around 4 hours to get there, but, it was the best sail because it was the first time we let the jib out and turned off the engine. I was lucky enough to be the first person to sail the boat that way. It was an amazing experience because I felt a connection with my crew and the boat itself. After we got to Savannah Bay we were taught how to set up the scuba diving gear, then we ate a vast dinner which was pasta with many different dressings. At the moment it is 6:27pm and we are cleaning the dishes and the deck so when we’re done we’ll have another scuba diving talk at 7.
