Day 19 – Responsible For Our Own Dinner
Posted: Sat, Jul 4, 2015
Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
I woke up to the sizzling sound of eggs ans sausage on the stove top. By far the hardest part of the day was getting everyone up after an extremely long day. After a bumpy sail to Peter Island we met one of the last original family members of peter Island. We spent a few moments looking at his families property and where he slept. Right on the other side of the road was one of the most exclusive resorts in the world. But for the most part the day was relaxing. We swam around the boats and snorkeled by beautiful reefs. While the day was relaxing the counselors surprised us by abandoning ship to partake in a mandatory staff meeting. This was a test to see how far we have become as mature adults. Some boats did better than others, but otherwise it was a great experience. After dinner and clean up we settled down for a group discussion.
