The divers who slept in the cockpit were shaken awake in their hammocks and most of us proceeded to clean up in preparation for breakfast. The rest of us barely made it inside before we went right back to sleep. Changing where you sleep adds perspective to your life. After sleeping through first breakfast, I woke up right in time for second breakfast which I cooked myself. Neptunes were shuttled to Surprise for 2 fun dives while the rescues waited to dinghy to Spindrift. Once on Spindrift, groups of five conducted search and recovery training dive. The missing objects were found and high fives followed the victory of recovering the lost objects. Second Wind’s rescues tried to eat all of Spindrifts snacks, but luckily for them they had already done it themselves. Once the Rescues returned to Second Wind Tina had prepared a boat load of quesadillas and we each destroyed around three. Tina out cooks all and to celebrate her culinary excellence I dedicate my post-lunch nap to her. We have an EFR test tonight so we studied hard and then motored to Cane Garden Bay. I sailed Second Wind so well, TACK-JIBE-DIVE it’s a demanding lifestyle. After returning we anchored and got ready for our O2 lecture which was instructed by Adam. Our staff have been excellent and impress us all constantly and as shipmates we bond and dive new reefs everyday. The days not over, but it’s heading in the right direction!
