Day 14- Rotations For Days
Posted: Mon, Jun 29, 2015
Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
Today was an eventful and exciting day like usual! We all helped make certifications possible! Our day began promptly at 8am with snorkelers and divers coming aboard. We all helped with gear setup and distributions, and then split up and went our separate ways to help assist. Our dive sit was the Sand Highway at Muskmelon Bay. How exciting! We each had a large role today as it was one of the last rotation days. To begin, Jan and Quin helped out and led a fish ID dive and had a blast! Oscar assisted with two deep dives and had the time of his life! Natalie led a dive and also assisted on the certification dive for the open water divers. Justin successfully led a snorkel adventure and assisted with the advanced divers. Our buddy Boyd helped with a final open water dive and had the pleasure to help Jake unclog the main head! Luckily this was a success! Alex helped with gear distribution and offered great surface support! Today I was the boat’s photographer and had a magnificent time doing so! I also assisted with an advanced deep dive. It was a great time! After our rotations were complete, I motored us over to Cane Garden Bay to get water and fuel. Tomorrow is the big hike day. We are all ecstatic and mentally preparing for this. Luckily we had a delicious dinner of Thai chicken to help us with that! Tonight we will be taking our Emergency First Response test so wish us luck! Also, shout out to all of the divemasters to passing the 120 question test! Woohoo! We are getting there! Stay tuned for another update tomorrow!
