Day 8 Chocolate Rain
Posted: Tue, Jun 23, 2015
Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today, we woke up nice and early at VIixen Point to a breakfast of bagels and yogurt. After everyone finished, we quickly were underway. We had a 3 hour long sail to Great Harbor Peter filled with naps and knowledge reviews for all of us. As soon as we arrived we set up our dive gear and a headed out together to get in a quick scuba before lunch. But before lunch, two of our wonderful staff (Adam & Matt) got to unclog our head! It was a pleasant experience for all who witnessed (p.s. if you don’t know what a head is, it means toilet in boat terms). After our lunch of sandwiches, we all got sun for a few minutes before heading out on out dives. Rescues embarked on our second search and recovery dive, while Neptunes did their first deep dive (72 feet)! Deliverance (basically a grocery store on a boat) stopped by and everyone got some treats and soda, except for Whit who instead bought a baguette. We all then then gave the boat a very in depth clean, and also did some laundry along the way. After quick showers, it was time for the best night of program, MEXICAN NIGHT! Now, with very full bellies, everyone’s finishing up their homework before lectures and dancing around to music. What an amazing day with the best people in the ActionQuest fleet!
