Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today we set motor for the Baths on the great island of Virgin Gorda at 6:45 on the dot. Motoring out of the treacherous Savannah Bay is no easy task but my crew and I prevailed with no injury. Then we on our journey to the Baths. As we were on our way we came quite close to our other dive side buddies and managed to pull ahead and secure a mooring ball. Then soon after the pick up of the mooring ball the beautiful Rachel had to depart from us. Then the dinghy ride to the Bathes and the incredibly difficult swim into shore. When we finally arrive don shore we snapped a quick pic then we went on our adventure through the rocks. The treacherous hike between the boulders was long and hard but we prevailed to making it to Devil’s Bay. After that the group separated and Pablo and I explored the secret cave while the girls took some rays and the other boys went to go to jumping rock. Then I made my way through the labyrinth of rocks to the jumping rock to spend some quality staff bonding with Cha Cha. After waiting and jumping while screaming “SURPRISE!!!” Then we made our way back to the boat to head towards Mountain Point for most of our boat’s first night dive. Before we got to Mountain Point we had some fun sailing with yours truly. Then we snorkeled our soon to be night dive site spotting our where we would adventure to. Then came time for dinner with Samand a very deep squeeze question. Then came the time everyone was waiting for, the night dive! We all entered the water to the nocturnal underwater world and left smiling. My group, the best group, saw a nurse shark that was probably 600 ft long but really more like 4 ft. And so ends our say full of Surprises!
