Day 8- Nice Sailing Day!
Posted: Wed, Jul 16, 2014
Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today we woke up early and tried from the beach party the last night. We set sails to Leverick Bay early in the morning and ate breakfast on the way to the bay. We got our phones and got to walk around the bay and call home, though some of us couldn’t get our phones working. After Leverick Bay we sailed off to the island of Anegada. We were sailing on a beam reach. We got to Anegada and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches made by today’s chefs. We spent about an hour on the beach swimming around talking with shipmates from other boats and getting to know them better. When we were done in Anegada we sailed to Mountain Point in Virgin Gorda. The sail here was very nice. All of us got to drive the boat. Some of us fell asleep because we were tired from the night before. Tonight we are having one of our final scuba chats and getting ready for our rotation day tomorrow.
