Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today was a bit different than the traditional travel or rotation day. Waking up early after the late night BBQ at Sydney’s was tiring but we quickly made our way to start the testing day! There were rotations where we were each tested on our ability to man the helm and pilot our ship around a sailing circle, and then review our knot tying skills. After everyone got through the exercises, we anchored at Sandy Spit. It was a beautiful evening after the test day and we ate the delicious franks and beans! One of the best meals this trip. Mike (finally) came over for dinner and we had a great time having a heart to heart using these incredible black and white postcards. We learned a little bit about ourselves and each other and our boat came EVEN closer. Now our boat is heading off to a Lifeworks Forum, so it should be another dreamy night under the moonlit sky. Tomorrow is race day and we can’t wait!
