Day 15- Last Official Day At Sea
Posted: Wed, Aug 14, 2013
Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Fifteen days have passed, most at sea with some stops at port, and now we’re down to our last day at sea (and port, Road Town), before all the catamarans and monohulls head back to West End for our final BBQ and goodbyes. 🙁 However, we started our day with a super yummy breakfast made by our two chefs, Daniel L. and Charlotte. After a speedy cleanup, we were off on the super dinks for wakeboarding/kneeboarding/waterskiing. Then we were off to Road Town, Tortola! In Road Town we had lunch, hogged the free Wifi, and four of the guys bought some “traditional BVI attire” to wear back to the boat. Once we all arrived back on the Prosecutor, we (and Ian) were headed off to the Bight on Norman Island it was a nice easy sail over. Once we arrived to Norman Island, the staff headed out for a meeting while we pulled pranks. Kidding! We all hung out in the galley, talked, hung out, and cracked jokes while the chefs prepared a dinner of franks and beans, mac and cheese, and chili. Then when the staff came back we all had showers, one last final squeeze, and our final dinner on the stern of the Prosecutor with an amazingly beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea, mountains, and a sunset. It’s a bittersweet last night out in the Bight and out on the water before we all head back to West End tomorrow.
