This session so far has been jam-packed with excitement and energy! The Tanisians get pumped up for all the activities, and not only enjoy learning, but soak up the knowledge! I literally had chills during my fish ID chat because of the excitement of my students. The Barracudas have already done six dives, including an exciting one at the Dogs in a superdink, which was everyone’s favorite. Crashing waves could be seen from below smashing the cliff sides. Beautiful! The Vegas have finished all confined water dives, and also finished open water dive #1; breathing underwater is becoming more and more natural. Everyone enjoyed climbing at the Baths, including our resident rock climber. I write this overlooking the sandy beach of Anegada, which we got here via a 12 mile sail from Virgin Gorda. Additionally, everyone has been learning how to hoist the mainsail and unfurl the jib, as the sail training has been going very smoothly. Looking across the cockpit at the expressions of the first time sailors as we start to heel over never gets old! We can’t believe the first half of the trip is over, and can’t wait for the adventures of the second!
