Day 8-Night Dive

We woke up this morning to take a short taxi ride to Loblolly Bay. On the way we were explained the uniqueness of the island. Anegada is home to an iguana found nowhere else. The island is so flat that boats can easily miss it when they pass by. We spent the morning snorkeling at the beach and dancing on the sand. The shrimp and fish lunch was delicious! The rest of the afternoon was spent sailing to the Dogs. It is this beautiful heap of rocks that makes for some stunning cliffsides. The Prosecutor got ready for dinner before our first night dive! We were pretty nervous, but it turned out to be amazing! Jumping off the boat into complete darkness was exhilarating. I personally have a fear of black water, so this dive was great. The coral looked brighter as our flashlights circled the ocean ground. We were able to see a number of sleeping fish as well. The highlight of the dive were the jellyfish, bioluminescence, and seaworms. I can’t wait to get back in the water at night!
