Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today we are waking up to a beautiful day in Savanna Bay. After a hearty breakfast of porridge we were headed for a practice paradise dive where we saw a lot of fish. After lunch then we windsurfed and Pico sailed and did other watersports. Today the squeeze question was what is a small victory that you can carry with you over the 17 days you are here. Today we had quite a few. While the scuba divers were diving, those participating in the Quest program went over to an area of Virgin Corda called the copper mines. And that area was once… surprise! A copper mine. But now it is one of the most picturesque parts of the island, with large rocks and veins of copper against which waves crashed and sent sea water at least twenty feet in the air like Mickey Mouse from Fantasia. This was followed by cleaning up a beach and followed by fruit punch and mini golf. Today we are studying scuba diving or first aid, and getting ready for the next day of sailing.
