So today was the day for the big hike probably the longest day of the trip. So we had an early wake-up at 6am and quickly got ready to set off on our trek at 7:30. The hike officially began at 7:30, with some people immediately sprinting to the top, and some people took more of a slow approach. Once the long, sweaty hike was over, everyone ate some lunch in Cane Garden Bay, also known for Jimmy Buffet’s “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” After lunch all of the boats set off for Sandy Cay to compete in the sand castle competition. Our boat created a very monstrous octopus named Cosmo, and thanks to the contributions of Robbie and Justin, a large sandy toilet. After the competition was over, we went over to Sydney’s Peace and Love for a BBQ and dance. We are all looking forward to the sailing practical tomorrow! Let’s see how it goes!
