Day 6- Summer Sunshine In The BVI

Pedro just ate half a bottle of red peppers and his mouth is burning. This is how they wanted me to start the blog because I didn’t know what else to do. So, today we woke up, a bunch of groggy teenagers at 6:30 in the morning waiting for our pop music to wake us up. Today was a good breakfast day- french toast. Then we were led to the decision of either waterskiing or wakeboarding. I chose wakeboarding because I’ve done it before and I love it. We were given lots of time to perfect our skills, and we all loved doing it. After that, most of the people on our boat went snorkeling near the mangroves. It was our second snorkel on the trip, and we saw a barracuda, six lobsters, and an interesting looking jellyfish. If I hadn’t already done enough, after lunch I was able to scuba dive at a reef location. The visibility was not great, but we were able to complete our navigation exercises. After that we played beach volleyball and tag in the water for a while, then had our windsurfing rotation. Then it started pouring. It hasn’t rained here at all except last night, which unfortunately affected all the people in the hammocks. This afternoon we were soaked, but just took showers off the back of the boat and waited til the heavens cleared and there was no more rain. One thing I know for sure is that I will definitely be sore tomorrow, but it was so worth it. This trip has been amazing. It has been an experience I never thought I would get and I honestly think I am one of the luckiest people in the world. There is nothing more beautiful than the sight I have been looking at for six days. It has already gone so fast; I hope and wish this trip will last forever.
