Day 6- Palm Trees Straight Out Of The Water

Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today was a great day. We got to sail, swim, and see new places. We started off the day with a quick breakfast of cereal and fruit. We were aiming to leave Savanna Bay at around 7:30am, and started to sail at 7:45am. We went to Anegada, which is a flat island. The highest point is 20 feet, unlike the surrounding mountainous islands. It was a smooth ride but we could see the rainstorm coming in. We arrived at Anegada around 10am. The sand was really white and smooth. We got to hang out with the other boats and we got much closer with other people. The island is really cool because until you are one mile away it looks like palm trees are just sticking out of the water. On the way back we were going to race Elowyn Sage, but the stormy weather prevented us from racing. We sailed then back to Virgin Gorda. While we were going we saw Richard Branson’s two private islands. One he built just to have his good friend get married there. Lucky friend! We rafted our boats with no problems. Rafting is when multiple boats line up together. We took our showers, and now we are clean and eating a yummy and spicy dinner. Today was a great day and we got a lot closer with the other boats!
