Today we had a huge day, despite the fact that we didn’t sail. But we still did a lot- from waterskiing to windsurfing to even our first scuba dive. Everyone woke up at 6:30 and we immediately went right into breakfast, quickly cleaned the dishes, and headed to another boat to waterski. It was challenging but lots of fun, but not my favorite. We then took off to a really nice hike where we went to the windward side of the island, which was so much fun and had such a great view. Plus there were so many cool rocks and shells. But… not my favorite. We then went straight over to dinghy driving, where we learned to drive the dinghy. It was actually super hard. But… not my favorite. But there’s no break besides lunch, soooo straight to windsurfing. But who’s complaining. It was really super fun, well, once we got the hang of it because it was really challenging and it took a certain skill although once you get the hang of it it got really easy and it really just felt like sailing the way your sail was, how you trimmed the sail and all the reaches. But still not my favorite. My favorite had to be scuba diving. It was so new to me and cool and taking my first breath underwater was like life changing, it’s like nothing I have ever experienced before. After that we had a really nice dinner with Mike the director. We had veggie burgers, which was surprisingly good even though I had high doubts. Overall this whole day has been so amazingly fun, just like this whole trip.
