Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today the crew woke up bright and early for sail practicals. Everything was pretty much normal until after breakfast. We left our raft in Sydney’s Peace and Love and motored out into open waters to sail. Half the crew went below deck to do knot tests while the other half of the crew stayed on deck to test their sailing skills that they have learned. Overall, the crew did exceptionally well. For lunch we hove to and had chicken salad sandwiches cause we’re awesome like that. Then we switched sides and the rest of the crew got to sail. Again, everyone did very well and we looked and sailed like true pros. After practicals we pulled into the white beaches of Sandy Spit, where we had a swim and dinner in front of two palm trees. Altogether it was one very chill day.
