Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
Today we sailed wing-on-wing downwind from Long Bay to Brewer’s Bay. We hit a top speed of 9.5 knots and had a really great sail. It was fun the entire journey, especially the gybes. At Brewer’s we had two dives which were both project dives. We were researching the extent of the bleaching of the corals using the PADI color chart. I took the readings in the first dive while one of my buddies did so for the second dive. Both dives were at the Pinnacles. The first set of readings were taken off the four cardinal directions of the mooring, while the second set was taken off the four cardinal directions off one of the pinnacles. After the research dives we showered with fresh water before restocking our water and fuel at Cane Garden Bay.
