A Perfect Day To Sail

I was woken up today by the delicious scent of warm french toast and the crisp morning sun in my eyes. I knew today would be great. After a scrumptious meal cooked by our chefs, we threw on our bathing suits and applied sunscreen in a hurry so we could get to the fun part of our day: sailing. Our first stop was the Drake channel for some sailing drills. Can I let you in on a little secret? Our boat kicks butt on drills! Everyone knows exactly what to do and when to do it. So for all those nail-biting parents out there worrying about your child passing the sailing test test, I can fully guarantee that your child will ace their sailing theory and practical. After nailing some drills we went to port in Trellis Bay for lunch and calling home. Lunch at Trellis Bay was a-m-a-zing! The sandwiches were perfect. We left Trellis Bay to sail to Muskmelon Bay on Guana Island. Now that sail brought us closer than ever. I feel like I’ve known everyone on this boat for my entire life! But then again, I am living with these people for three weeks, so how could I not get close to them? But we all feel like family. We even started calling our skipper “Dad,” which sounds weird, but trust me, it’s not. To seal up our perfect sunny day, we gathered outside for some hot chili with rice. You can always tell it’s a good meal when it’s silent during the eating section of the meal. And trust me, you could have heard a pin drop on the deck. I can honestly say I will miss everyone on this boat when it is time to leave, but for now I am enjoying every moment I can with Prosecutor and ActionQuest.
