Today started off bright and early as usual! After a delicious breakfast of blueberry muffins and scrambled eggs the Dolphins and Neptunes split up for morning activities. The Dolphins got to dissect a starfish. We used scalpels and scissors to cut them up and look at the water vascular system and digestive system. Then we set up our dive gear and went on our first research dive where we measured coral cover in different areas. The Neptunes went on their second wreck dive to a wreck called Fearless. Then we all reunited to eat grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch back on our boat. After nap time we went on our second dive of the day (Dolphins did a Fish ID dive and Neptunes did a Boat dive). After our dive we showered and started cooking Thanksgiving dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and chicken. It was sooooo good. Even though it was a little rainy overall it was a great day!
