Location: Muskemelon Bay, Guana Island
It seems that each day gets better and better as the trip goes on. Today we sailed from Marina Cay to Muskemelon Bay. We did our second underwater dive with cameras. My buddy and I got some awesome pictures of barracudas, corals, and jellyfish. After that great dive we had a great tortilla soup made my our skipper. Then we went to go turtle tagging. This was one of the coolest things I have ever done. We were towed behind a dinghy until we spotted a turtle. Once we saw one we would free dive to catch it and surface it. Aaron got the turtle and surfaced it after a few crazy wild splashes underwater. We then went knee boarding where I learned to spin and slide the board which was very fun. When we came in for an awesome chili dinner the last thing I expected was to see a shark. Half way through dinner our skipper, Matty, saw a huge bait ball off our starboard side. He jumped in and said he saw a shark! At that moment our whole boat jumped in the water and saw two 6 ft sharks. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Overall my day was jammed with excitement and fun.
