Momo Appreciation Day

This morning we were woken up by the sinking of our boat and all our personal possessions. Just kidding, but now that I have your attention and hopefully none of you had a heart attack, I will tell you about what a wonderful day we had today. We woke up to the beautiful sun and some blasting bagpipe music courtesy of our wonderful Doug, and had an amazing breakfast of cereal. Our staff then had a meeting to go to so we were left alone for a while. Although our attempt to burn the boat down failed (just kidding) we decided to surprise our staff by literally cleaning our boat head to toe. One of our staff members, Monika, happens to be a clean freak (and that’s putting it lightly), so in regards to her we hearby declare August 11th “Momo Appreciation Day.” The staff came back an were thrilled with the surprise, especially Momo, who said it was the best day of her life (she must have a boring life). After that we went to port and got off at Trellis Bay, one of my favorite destinations so far. Everyone had a delicious lunch and were able to call home, buy souvenirs, buy a snack… but most importantly, check Facebook and Twitter haha, just joking. After about three hours on land we went back to Southern Accent and had a wonderful sail to Muskmelon Bay, where I am currently writing this blog. I am looking forward to my night dive tonight and the adventures to come. Everyone is doing great and the shark attack wounds are healing nicely.. (is it too soon to joke?) Let the countdown begin, because we have one week left, and although we don’t want that day to come, you will have your sons and daughters back in no time, so don’t worry. We all miss you and we are all having an amazing experience.
