Early Day of Sailing
Posted: Wed, Aug 8, 2012
Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today we woke up at 5:45 and set sail as soon as possible. After leaving where we were anchored for the night, breakfast began. We had oatmeal which was nice after rushing to get moving this morning. After a few hours of sailing we arrived at Anaegada which is one of the few flat islands in the BVI. After arriving Boss Lady and Mambo met us ashore and we hung out on the beach for a while. At the end of our time on the beach the Dolphins had an underwater photography lecture while the Neptunes got a boat diver lecture and got to roll off of a dinghy. Then we set sail again and sailed to the Chikuzin, which was a Korean freezer ship which sand in the 80’s. It was an amazing dive. We (the Neptunes) saw a lot of fish, two sting rays, and a reef shark. Then we set sail again and arrived where we are diving tonight and navigating ourselves! And we had tacos for dinner which we amazing. Another amazing day is almost done in a phenomenal trip!
