Location: The Bight, Norman Island
The day started off bright and early. Everyone hung out on the dock, then gathered together for orientation. Soon after everyone prepared their boats and set sail. For most everyone, it was their first time sailing, but everything went smoothly. After a long ride we stopped next to an island. Together we all took our swim test- 7 laps around the boat and treading water for 10 minutes. It was declared that anybody who could keep their hands above water for the entire time would get a fruit roll-up, but in the end nobody could do it. We then picked out snorkel gear and headed out to snorkel. We saw tons of fish, and there were caves we could go in too. After a long day of sailing and swimming, we jumped in the water and took showers, then had Sloppy Joe’s for dinner.
