Today was awesome; the winds finally picked up, and now were all getting our first taste of some really serious sailing. While we are all used to life under passage, everything always becomes more difficult once you add motion to it. Tasks that are normally not even thought about are now some of the hardest things to adjust to under passage, such as simply trying to stay in your bed. Last night was perfectly clear, and we got another glimpse of the perfectly uninterrupted night sky. We even got to see a meteor shower! The watches fly by now, eat, sleep, watch, repeat. Were hoping to get into Gibraltar sometime in the next 2 days, and we all couldn’t be more excited to sail through the straight.
To Mom, Dad, Leane, Marissa, and everyone else back home, I miss you, and I cant wait to talk to you all in Gibraltar!
