Day 13

Posted: Sun, Jul 1, 2012

Location: Sommer’s Beach, Tortola
Author: Joseph D.
Today started as a typical rotation day, yet grew into much more. We awoke to our morning CD and made a breakfast of scrambled eggs and muffins. After cleaning up we went to another boat to Pico sail but due to where we were it was almost impossible to get anywhere. The winds in Muskmelon are sketchy at best and many times an unexpected gust would capsize our boats, often times in a very funny manner. From Pico sailing we moved to scuba diving, which was amazing! Our group got to descend to 50 feet and take a quick tour of the nearby coral reef. We even got to play with an arrowhead crab and a sand dollar we found. From scuba we came back home to Knot Guilty for a couple of hours of wakeboarding. I didn’t go but many of the people on our ship went and had a blast. Once we were all finished we motored over to Sommer’s Beach for a BBQ. The food was pretty tasty and it was really fun to hang out together. This boat is remarkably close and I’m so happy to be a part of it.
