This morning we woke up to a warm breeze and the smell of french toast. Once again the chefs prepared an amazing meal. After cleanup we all swam to the shore for a fun morning of sailing small boats called Picos and windsurfing. The first few minutes on the mini sailboat were definitely nerve racking and it took a while to adjust, but once we got the hang of it it was such an amazing feeling. It was such a beautiful day to be gliding on the water. After sailing we jumped into a dinghy and were hauled off to snorkel. Snorkeling was an amazing experience and something I will never forget. Being able to swim with thousands of fish, a lobster, and a southern stingray is not something you can do every day. Later after lunch half of “The Prosecutors” went to wakeboard and waterski, while the others lounged in the water on inflatable floaties. It was a perfect day until we found out it was time to clean the boat inside and out. As the skipper I addressed all the jobs that needed to be done and put everyone to work. At first it seemed hopeless. Everyone was still sitting down awkwardly staring at each other. But once they heard the reward, a fresh water shower with shampoo, everyone got to work. It was an awesome feeling knowing everyone came together to help out! Through all the hairballs and dirt it was amazing to know that we accomplished that and it brought us even closer. Even though it was hard work it had some amazing rewards, including fresh water showers, brownies, and a lot of bonding time. Today was truly a memorable day.
