Today we woke up from a great night’s sleep (perfect weather!) and had a delicious breakfast of fruit and scrambled eggs made by the talented Joe and Valerie. Some of us tried hot sauce with the eggs, which was surprisingly delicious! After breakfast we had a fun chill for an hour when our awesome staff went to go coordinate activities for the next few days. When they got back we put our PFDs on and set sail. We dropped the mooring ball and set sail towards Cooper Island. The best part was when I got to be at the helm all day! We learned about sailing (and safety!) and knot tying too. We also got to relax until we reached Cooper Island, where we stopped for lunch. We all had delicious sandwiches for lunch, and then we cleaned up and set sail again! The water was so clear and pretty! We made our way to Savannah Bay, and I navigated through the reefs to get there, and then we all learned how to drop the anchor. Then we swam in the water and showered, and then we had really good pasta and sauce and garlic bread. Now we’re cleaning up and getting ready for another dive chat! Today was a great day, and I’m already excited for tomorrow!
