Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
We woke up like we usually do to the morning CD in Marina Cay. After slowly making our way up onto the deck we had cereal instead of the planned french toast because of the lack of bread onboard. After cleanup and deckie-ing we picked up anchor and sailed towards the Dogs. The plan was to sail around the Dogs for a couple hours, then have lunch. During the time we spent sailing a rainstorm came and passed, leaving us soaking wet. We had a lunch of tortilla soup and saltines and anchored when rainstorm numero dos came in and drenched us. That didn’t stop us from having a great time dancing and swimming in the rain. Maggie B. picked up our anchor once more to join the other AQ boats on our side to dive. I personally sat and read because it was too choppy to snorkel, but everyone else had a great dive. Now we are on our merry way to Muskmelon Bay, where we’ll have a dinner of chilli! And the evening activity is a sail chat, gotta go do my homework, but first I have to say it was an amazing day once again in the BVI.
