A Practical Day

Today we got to sleep in until 7:30! We were happily woken by hot, delicious pancakes. Soon after we set sail out of the port to begin a busy day of sailing and more. Today we had our sailing practical exam for our certification- it’s crazy to think of an exam in the Caribbean, let alone during the summer! However it will be way worth it once we earn our license. After each one took their turn we had scrumptious chicken salad sandwiches for lunch. While we were eating we arrived at our destination and anchored. We swam, played, and cleaned dinghies before scrubbing up to shower. Our squeaky clean selves sat down and had dinner of franks and beans. We finished the day with a Lifeworks sit down with Mike. I can’t wait for the glories tomorrow will hold.
